“WASTE NO MORE TIME ARGUING WHAT A GOOD MAN SHOULD BE. BE ONE”
— Marcus Aurelius “

The journey of self-improvement doesn’t come without effort. Anything worth having is going to cost you time, sweat and sometimes a little blood. Here you will be encouraged to not only work on your physical self, but also your intellect and mind. Training your mind is no different to training a muscle group in a gym. You need to seek out new information and read, watch and listen. Even from sources or people that you will disagree with or make you feel uncomfortable as you start to question your values and ideals. You need to form some intellectual callouses. For you to become the best version of yourself, you will need to work on the entire package of yourself as a man.
It all begins with an aspiration. An idea of the man you want to be in the future rather than the person you are now. The type of man that is valued, respected and seen as a leader and inspiration to others around him in his family, workplace and community. You will need to keep this idea close to your heart and remember it won’t happen right away. Any valuable improvement is worth struggling for. Sacrifice and effort will be necessary in your pursuit of male self improvement and empowerment.
The concept of male self improvement doesn’t come at the cost of the women and girls in our lives. The idea of male empowerment or encouraging a community of men empowering men is not to the detriment of others or belittle them regardless of their gender or sexual persuasion. It is all about men seeking the challenges collectively to better themselves as leaders and role models for themselves, one another and to set the example to women and girls to demonstrate what good men are. The collective gain within our communities is what it is about.
